I'd prefer the pencil skirt, they look fantastic with a corset. Jeans may be sexy but not as much in a grown up way. When I hear grown up I think sophisticated. However, I don't particularly like the skirt you have chosen. it is just a difference of tastes, if we all liked the same thing then fashion would be boring :). Personally I prefer the longer skirt, but again that is just my opinion. To me it will show your curves so it is sexy, without being overtly so (sophisticated) and will combine well with the corset.
